These handmade tankards are perfect for serving your favorite hot or cold beverages whenever the opportunity arises. Each tankard is approximately 5 inches tall with a 3-inch rim and has a capacity of 16 ounces, or one pint.
Each piece is wheel-thrown using locally blended stoneware clay, bisque fired, then glazed with glazes formulated and mixed in my studio. The tankards are then fired a second time to temperatures exceeding 2200°F, resulting in fully functional pieces intended for everyday use.
Each tankard is individually handmade therefore slight differences in shape, capacity, and glaze coloring should be expected and are part of their handmade character.
