This handmade stoneware Bacon Cooker is a one-piece kitchen item that is a must for making perfect servings of bacon. Each comes with a Slip Trailed Freeform Organic design giving each piece a natural, one-of-a-kind character.
Because each piece is handmade, some variations in shape, glaze color, texture, detail work as well as size can be expected.
This one of a kind bacon cooker is an excellent way to perfectly cook bacon to your liking in a microwave resulting in minimized cooking time as well as easy cleanup. Fold 6 or so strips of bacon over the top of the rim so it is hanging inside and outside the cylinder then pop into the microwave. Depending on your microwaves wattage, cook approximately 1 minute per slice or as needed to meet your liking. I typically use thick cut bacon and 1 minute/slice is what I prefer. This bacon cooker is wheel thrown in one piece and has a drainage hole between the bottom of the cylindrical part and the outer rim allowing for the drippings to flow freely from the inner chamber to the outer tray area. The tray has a pour spout shaped into the rim supporting quick and easy placement of all bacon drippings into your receptacle of choice.
